Roasted broccoli


  • 4 broccoli crowns
  • 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • Non stick spray
  • Aluminum foil



Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non stick spray

Cut or pull apart broccoli crowns into bite size pieces

If you have long stems that you would like to use, just cut away some of the tough outer layer and chop into bite size pieces.

Place on cookie sheet and sprinkle with your seasonings.

Spray top of broccoli with non stick spray

Place carefully in oven and set timer for 20 minutes

Carefully remove broccoli from oven.

You can have one bag of veggies along with a small serving of lean meat as your meal to stay healthy and keep your calories low while feeling full. 

For convenience, you can use frozen broccoli for this recipe. 

You can also microwave steam fresh bags and top with your favorite spices to add flavor. Just make sure spice blends are salt-free like Mrs Dash. 

Avoid frozen vegetables with cream and cheese sauces!
